OH, an update to DA? How novel!

this one in particular was for my children's book illustration class and we did a whole storyboard for a short story without words that had to involve a boy, a girl, and a cat. So naturally I draw tigers and little russian children. Naturally. ..

I really adore the color and mood of this picture. I actually felt like this picture was abit adult for a childrens book storyboard, but then again children have seen worse imagery lol

thanks! I try to push my illustrations as far as I can for children's books and I mean... I read Bluebeard when I was barely in elementary school, I think kids can handle a couple of flapping birds compared to that xD hahaha

Oh wow, the colors in this are just amazing. The purples and blues paired with those pink-oranges are just fffffff SO BEAUTIFUL. I really like the expressions and their clothing designs, seriously, gorgeous work!
