Before anyone asks, yes, this is meant to represent Persephone and Hades
A lot of people on tumblr were complaining that Persephone looked too old? I think what I was trying to get across was a certain point in their marriage where Hades is the ONLY faithful spouse in all of Olympus and even Persephone isn't..sooo.. yup.. (I also went back and softened her features a bit and hopefully she looks more youthful and less like miss piggy than the original)

the class assignment was for hands..so I went with it hahaha

Oh wow. This myth has always been my favourite, and I just love everything about this piece. The pomegranate chest (not unlike a autopsy opening) and the look on Hades and the colours ahh! I always loved Hades because I felt like he drew the short straw when it came to who got what between him, Zeus and Poseidon, plus, yeah, he's the only faithful one. I really like how you've done him, sort of simple and stuff.
I don't know what else to say but I really really love this and I thing it might be my favourite Hades/Persephone piece i've seen ever..!
